The Adaptec SATA RAID 2020SA card takes advantage of the system motherboard's existing Serial ATA I/O channels by using complimentary logic designed on the motherboard. This innovative approach reduces the cost of the RAID card by eliminating the need for a SATA I/O chip on the RAID card. The Adaptec 2020SA SATA ZCR card offers high-speed throughput, scalability, space-saving features, and a cost-effective upgrade path to a full-featured hardware RAID solution.
