The SCO Unix driver is available for use with the eMASTER+ PCI single port adapters, and works with SCO Unix 3.2.4.2 and SCO Open Desktop 3.0.
The file is provided in a compressed TRZ format, which can be used as follows to create an SCO Unix driver installation diskette:
|
- Change to your system's /etc/tmp directory
cd /etc/tmp
- Copy VOLUME1.TRZ to your /etc/tmp directory, and uncompress the file.
doscp a:volume1.trz volume1.tar.Z
uncompress volume1.tar.Z
- Make a temporary working directory on your system, and make that directory your current directory.
mkdir drv
cd drv
- Extract the TAR file to your temporary directory
tar xvf ../volume1.tar
- Copy the extracted files to a formatted floppy.
tar cvf /dev/fd0
- Remove the VOLUME1.TAR and /drv directories from your system.
cd /etc/tmp
rm *.tar -r drv
- Using your newly created installation diskette, proceed with SCO driver installation using the "CUSTOM" utility.
