EM100FX-ST
The EM100 FX is the first Fast Ethernet PCI adapter to support the IEEE 100BASE-FX ideal for use in 'electrically noisy' environments such as building risers and factory floors, and also in backbone environments where longer cabling distances are required. For maximum throughput, EM100 FX includes Full Duplex Fast Ethernet (FDFE) capability, which doubles the cumulative system throughput rate in switched or dedicated backbone environments. FDFE capability is easily enabled via software configuration.
