Description:   Adaptec's USB 2.0 drivers allow your Adaptec USB2connect, DuoConnect and XHub products to work with USB 2.0 devices at speeds up to 480 megabits per second. These drivers are 100% compatible with all USB 1.1 devices as well. Please read the included README file for the latest technical enhancements and limitations of these drivers.

Supported operating systems:
Adaptec's USB 2.0 drivers support Microsoft Windows® 98 Second Edition,Windows 2000, Windows Millennium Edition and Windows XP operating systems. This is a self-extracting zip file that will unzip to c:\adaptec\usb2.
Caution Caution:   Special note for Windows 2000 users:
If you upgrading to version 3.1 from either version 1.1 or 1.0 of the Adaptec USB 2.0 drivers please read and follow the installation instructions in the installation guide for Windows 2000 available for download below. If you do not follow the instructions exactly the driver will not install properly.

Special note for Windows 98 users:
You cannot install this driver on Windows 98 First Edition, you must upgrade to the Second Edition first and then install the driver.
