Adaptec Series 1 Unified Serial™ (SATA/SAS) HBAs
offer SATA and SAS I/O for:
• hard disk drives (HDDs)
• tape drives
• tape autoloaders
• solid state drives (SSDs)

These HBAs support up to 128 devices for maximum scalability. They feature a PCIe x4 bus and a 3Gb/s SAS interface to deliver maximum I/O performance, and the ability to add RAID separately via software or on the motherboard to meet application-specific requirements.
