Expedite Your Support

The following tips will help us better serve you and will help reduce your telephone costs.

 
When calling Adaptec's Technical Support:

Have your Technical Support Identification Number (TSID) available. It will be required to determine your support status.

If you are calling regarding an ongoing issue, reference your incident number when your call is answered. This will allow us to save you time by verifying the troubleshooting actions which have already taken place.

If you are calling about a hardware product, please:

  • Have information on other hardware (such as motherboard, sound card, etc.) installed in your computer.
  • Have the computer in front of you. This will help save time if we need additional information about your computer system.
    • If the system is up and running and the Adaptec product has the SCSI Select Utility (Ctrl A when booting), have it displayed on the screen.
    • If the system is not up and running, have the cover removed.
