The following is a list of the modifications to DOS and Windows configuration
files made during installation of the most popular sound cards. If you
previously had a sound card in your system, and want to replace it with an
Adaptec AMM-1570/72, the modificiations made by the previous sound card must
be removed. The most important files to modify are the CONFIG.SYS,
AUTOEXEC.BAT, and SYSTEM.INI.

modification as well as all the new INI files added in Windows directory.
The file listing for some of the other sound cards may not include all the
file modifications or newly added INI files.
