With the EM525 AT adapter, you can be sure that your workstation adapters will always be able to keep up with your server, no matter how severe the network load. EM525 AT is the ideal workstation companion board to Cogent’s eMASTER+ EISA and PCI server adapters, and enables networks to benefit from Cogent’s Predictive Pipelining technology. EM525 AT maintains high system throughput in any sized network and provides an extra advantage for environments running resource intensive applications requiring high network bandwidth. Unlike other adapters which show significant degradation in performance even under moderate loads, EM525 AT is relatively insensitive to load. With throughput that can exceed 900 KBytes/sec, EM525 AT is fast enough to handle data transfers at full cable bandwidth performance that can make you and your network more productive.

Easier to Use

EM525 AT is a jumperless design that is easy to install and customize to your environment. A software installation utility automates the installation process. Once EM525 AT is installed, board level user diagnostics fully test your configuration to verify proper operation. EM525 AT gives you a choice of models, including BNC only, twisted pair only, and combo versions. With on-board connectors for thick coax, thin coax (Cheapernet), and twisted pair cabling, EM525 AT Combo supports all three Ethernet cable types on a single adapter so you can easily adapt to your company’s future network needs with no added expense.
