Connectors on Ultra Wide adapters for both Wide and 8-bit devices allow you to easily attach and run both types of devices simultaneously SCSI, SCSI-2, SCSI-3 and Ultra Wide SCSI (Wide adapters only) or Ultra SCSI support with active termination. Supports up to 40MB/s Ultra Wide synchronous SCSI transfers (PM2044U supports up to 20MB/s. Overlapped I/O and tagged command queuing for increased SCSI performance. Upgradable to hardware cache and RAID support via single, optional add-on module. Module supports up to 64MB of hardware cache and RAID levels 0, 1 and 5. Supports hot-swapping when equipped with optional RAID/Caching Module and used with DPT RAID subsystems.
