Computers equipped with PCI buses should automatically detect and configure
PCI-compliant adapters, preventing you from having to manually add the network
adapter.
After putting the network adapter in the computer, start Windows 95.
- The "New Hardware Found" dialog box appears. Select Driver from disk
provided by hardware manufacturer.
Note: If the "New Hardware Found" dialog box doesn't appear, you'll need to
configure the adapter using the "Add New Hardware" wizard in the Windows 95
Control Panel.
- Insert the Adaptec ALANE Drivers for Windows 95 disk in a floppy drive and
click OK. Windows 95 will copy the driver files to your computer.
- Restart your computer when prompted by Windows 95.
